Touessrok Resort

On the shoreline of Trou d'Eau Douce Bay, Barlen's Restaurant has a contemporary Asian-inspired interior. This unique beachside restaurant and bar pampers guests with sushi, Western char-grills, Japanese grills and salads. Lunch and dinner are served here.

Barlen's Bar serves fresh juices, cool drinks and delicious afternoon teas throughout the day. In the evening, there is rosé champagne, accompanied by Asian-inspired snacks. The perfect way for the guests to start a delightful evening is to taste the bar's amazing array of martinis or ‘Zen' cocktails.

The Safran is an enchanting restaurant, with its modern interpretation of classic Indian cuisine, devised by Vineet Bhatia. It applies the continental methods of preparation to a range of timeless Indian recipes. The open kitchen's focal point is the tandoori ovens producing a tasty variety of Indian bread, mouth-watering appetisers and main courses. This restaurant serves only dinner. It is closed on Wednesdays.

Sega Bar occupies centre stage at the main pool and is the ideal spot for refreshing drinks and tropical cocktails throughout the day. The bar features an exceptional selection of Pure Malt Scotch Whiskies, as well as an impressive range of Single Barrel Bourbons and fine rum from around the world - including Le Touessrok's own home-made rum. Guests have the opportunity to sway to the rhythms of jazzy island music until late at night. Light refreshments, tropical cocktails and a wide variety of whiskies are served here.

Beach service: Light snacks and refreshing drinks are served to you on the beach.

Crusoe's Restaurant is situated on Ilôt Mangénie and is open for lunch from 12 noon to 3 pm. Fresh fish, salad bar and pizza are served at Crusoe's. Every Sunday, Robinson's features a lavish brunch with its signature stir-fry kiosk, spit-roasted leg of lamb or free-range chicken, a lagoon seafood barbecue, salad bar and dessert counter.

Robinson's Bar offers a special selection of home-made rum cocktails prepared by the cheerful governor of Ilôt Mangénie, Robinson. Guests can join Robinson at his bar and enjoy the real spirit of the island.

Kids Only & Club One

Children can enjoy daily fun programmes, age appropriate activities and nature excursions, as also sports, dinner time activities, outings, disco and theme evenings in the specifically designed Kids Only (for children in the two to 11 group) and Club One (for children between 12 and 17). Babysitters are available at an extra charge and are required for children between two and three, unless accompanied by an adult.

Conference Rooms

The Orchid Conference Room can accommodate 120 people, seated theatre-style or 60 people seated in classroom-style. The room can be partitioned for meetings. The second conference room, the Jasmine Room, is situated above the Orchid Room and has a capacity of 80.

Sports Facilities

Facilities for Matt Roberts Personal Training are available at the hotel's spa, which includes stretching, water exercise programs, programmes for swimming, aquatic exercises, golf and tennis.

Water sports facilities are mostly based on the Ile aux Cerfs and they include among others, canoeing, kayaking, laser sailing, pedal boating, glass-bottom boat trips, snorkelling, waterskiing, windsurfing, and aqua gym.

Land sports include golf on the 18 hole par-72 golf course at Ile aux Cerfs, or on the 9 hole golf course designed by Gary Player at One and Only Le Saint Geran. On the mainland, facilities for horse riding, nature trails, deer stalking, cycling, bocciball, jogging, volleyball, football and tennis on any of the four floodlit courses are available.

On payment of additional supplement, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, parasailing, banana and tube rides, catamaran sailing, canoeing, and trainer services at the gymnasium can be organised.

Privilege Card

All Le Touessrok guests are issued a privilege card, which entitles them to significant benefits, such as free access to many sports facilities, car hire facility and some shopping benefits. The card allows resort and meal interchanges at One and Only Le Saint Geran, as well as further discounts on travel.

Weather Conditions

With a fresh breeze constantly blowing from the South, the northeast coast remains dry and warm most of the year.

Additional Information

Le Touessrok is situated at Belle Mare, on one of the most beautiful coral beaches of the island. It is located 50 km from Port Louis and 50 km from the airport (15 minutes from the airport by helicopter). There is a 20 min complimentary shuttle service to Le Touessrok from the sister hotel One and Only Le Saint Geran.

Transport to Flacq: It is a 20 min drive by taxi and costs Rs 350 one way.
Transport to Port Louis: It is a 40 min drive by taxi and costs Rs. 600 one way.
