Belle Vue - Main Restaurant 
An open terrace restaurant on multiple levels under an expansive wooden roof. With an excellent view of the pool and the sea from all tables, Belle Vue has been renovated to provide a more spacious buffet preparation area with live cooking stations, including sushi and dim sum.

Breakfast: 07.30 - 10.30 
Spacious buffet with an extensive selection of hot and cold dishes, homemade bread and pastries, tropical fruits and cereals.

Lunch: 12.30 - 15.00 (buffet style)

Dinner: 18.30 - 22.00
Different buffets, barbecues or themed evenings. On selected days, table d'hôte menus with choice for the various courses.

Chateau Mon Desir: Fine Dining and Gourmet Restaurant

A new mansion harmoniously integrated in the ruins of Balaclava, our exclusive a la carte restaurant overlooks the historical surroundings with its Citron River and the Turtle Bay. The restaurant’s colonial architecture and interior design is a tribute to the island’s colonial past.

Inside is a wealth of amenities, panoramic views, air-conditioning, a veranda and garden lounge. Private rooms for all types of professional or family meetings and gourmet weekends are available, with dining excellence and nternational, French and Indian Ocean delicacies.

Guests on “All inclusive” or halfboard receive a credit of Rs 1,000 p.p. for dining.

La Maree Beach Restaurant 
Open Daily.

Hidden in the palm trees on the beach, come sample an exquisite selection of fresh seafood specialties and other grilled dishes served in a casual and rustic environment while you gaze at a magnificent bay view. Come for breakfast, lunch or dinner inside or on the beach.

Breakfast: 07.30 to 10.30 

Guests booked in our suites and villa, regular guests in prestige Rooms and Maritim partner card-holders have the privilege to start the day on the beach with a tropical breakfast selection.

Lunch: 12.30 to 15.00

Choose from a light selection of seafood and grilled dishes.
All inclusive guests receive a credit of Rs 400.

Dinner: Open daily from 19.00 to 22.00 

The Chef will cater for a la carte dinners. Guest on halfboard or all inclusive receives a credit of Rs 400.

The Bars:

There is a distinct maritime atmosphere in our main bar, located on the beach and poolside with a panoramic view of the whole bay.

Maritim Hotel is a specialist in organizing incentives, conferences, business meetings and other functions.

The hotel offers 30 business rooms in different categories, equipped with all modern business facilities (WIFI, Fax, Scanner, Printer, Copier, partly LAN).

Maritim Spa & Beauty Care

Hidden in the hotel’s 25 ha garden, our 3,500 sqm Tropical Flower Spa is a paradise for relaxation. The soothing sounds of the waterfall’s cascade mix with the chirping of local birds, while private wellness pavilions entice guests to undergo luxurious professional treatments.

Guests who choose reward themselves with a visit to the spa are in for something special. After an individual consultation to ascertain skin type, a mix of tropical flowers, plants, natural oils and scents according is produced for your tailor-made masks and creams. A variety of treatments are available, all with the goal of enhancing relaxation and well-being. 

The spa also provides a special room dedicated to bridal preparations. In addition to head-to-toe beauty treatments, hairdressing, manicures and pedicures, the bridal dressing rooms are comprehensively equipped to ensure everything is perfect on this most memorable day.

Weddings at Maritim Hotel

Maritim is one of the  most comprehensive wedding specialists on the island. Designer wedding coordinators can arrange complete wedding packages, including the local formalities, ceremonies and dinners. Official formalities and religious assistance remain the key of the day. These are managed by our wedding coordinators as well. We have a variety of venue options: 
- Choose a peaceful spot from our 25 hectares of tropical vegetation;
- Our golden sandy beach is another option to say ‘Yes, I do’;
- For guests who prefer a covered area, Maritim Hotel has its own well decorated romantic gazebo for a special wedding.

How nice to have the horse-carriage "ballade" in the gardens of the hotel after the wedding ceremony, or even choose a club car transfer from your room. Otherwise straight after the wedding ceremony take the boat transfer on river Citron for a photo session in the historical ruins. Or, just a romantic stroll along the nature path.

A 9-hole (par 29) golf course, designed by Graham Marsh and our golf professionals. Each hole can be played from 2 different tees. Driving net and putting green. Golf-pro available for individual lessons, beginners and advanced courses. No green fee for hotel residents.

Enjoy a mini golf in the shade of our century old typical Mauritian coqueluche trees.

Tennis
3 floodlit synthetic tennis courts are on location, with rackets available from the hotel.

Horse-Riding (for a fee)

Located next to the ruins of Balaclava on our estate, our equestrian centre shelters 8 - 12 horses and ponies. A minimal fee will be applied for lessons in the corral and our ponies will make the joy of kids for special payable lessons.

Sport & Wellness Club
Open daily from 08.00 to 20.00 
Located next to the pool, our 150 sqm, fully air-conditioned gym is fitted out with a selection of modern equipment.

Located near the beach in the middle of a safely fenced playground, our kids club is a small house consisting of a game/TV-room, kitchenette, toilet and veranda where hostesses take care of children from 3-11 years. Games, toys, children videos. Children's play ground. Daily children's programme.
