Located at Moka, in the fresh climate of central Mauritius, Ref 202 is a well-preserved residence from the French colonial period. The main house has been turned into a famous museum surrounded by magnificent gardens with a cascading river.

On its premises, the property offers three self catering guesthouses situated in a very quiet green corner of the garden near or in connection with the residence of the present owner.

These are furnished with a touch of the past combined with modern and well equipped bathrooms and kitchenettes. Guests are offered breakfast, whilst lunch and dinner can be ordered separately.

The guesthouses are ideal for those seeking calm and quiet. It is probably not by chance that their first guests were poets and writers.

Le Ravin Restaurant that used to be managed by Ref 202 is no longer operational
Guests can also order meal during the day, which will be served in the guest house
The house is equipped with bed sheets and bathroom towels. The towels and bed sheets are changed every second or third day, provided it is not raining

Late check-out policy:

General check-out time for most accommodation is at 11h00 or latest 12h00.

Extending the check-out time until around 17h00 will generally cost half of the room price of a full night. Checking out after 17h00 generally means you pay the full price.

It is important to note what service the hotel offer in the “Late check-out” price. Some offer lunch for check-out at 17h00, whereas all hotels offer the choice of lunch or dinner for “Late check-out” after 17h00.

Less than 6 weeks and no show: 100% of stay hence no refund

Less than 2 months - 100% of stay hence no refund.
More than 2 months 50% of stay hence 50% refund
More than 3 months 75% of stay hence 75% refund
More than 4 months 85% of stay hence 85% refund

We recommend that you take our insurance policy, at the time of booking, in case of cancellation; the traveler will be covered subject to booking conditions outlined therein.

REFUND POLICY:
Any refund is effected 30 days end of month from date of approved refund from our accounting department.
