Paul and Virginie Hotel is situated in the sleepy fisherman's village of Grand Gaube, on the north-east corner of the island. Standing on the shore of a turquoise ocean, a white sandy coral beach and a tropical garden lace its borders.
Stonewalls, thatched roofs and wood work typify the natural charm and ambience of the Paul and Virginie Hotel.
All the rooms are beautifully decorated in colonial style and are equipped with individual A/C, direct dial telephone and television with video channels. The rooms face the sea and offer a view of the northern islands.
There are two swimming pools in the hotel. The main one is perfect for families with children and is located in front of the accommodation building. The other pool adds charm and ambience to the restaurant and the main bar.

There are two restaurants at the Paul & Virginie Hotel. The main restaurant serves breakfast, both international and local cuisine, while the beach restaurant serves lunch and light snacks. There are two bars, including one on the beach, and two swimming pools.

The hotel is situated 12 km from the village of Grand Bay, 30 km from Port Louis and 80 km from the airport.
It is located in the fishing village of Grand Gaube, on the north coast of Mauritius. The lagoon is sheltered by a small coral reef. The sea here sea is shallow. Sometimes, algae occur.
Transport to Grand Bay
- It takes 20 to 25 min by public bus and costs Rs 18 one-way.
- It takes 15 min and costs Rs 250 one-way.
