Celebrated for its award-winning cuisine, the Royal Palm invites you to a tantalising culinary experience in any of its three restaurants, all of which offer a la Carte menus, with a choice of gourmet dishes.

The La Goélette restaurant, with a seating capacity of 80, is a romantic terrace restaurant. It has acquired well-deserved international status over the years. It offers an eclectic mix of international and local favourites, combining the world's finest ingredients with the freshest produce in Mauritius. A la Carte and buffet breakfast and a la Carte dinner are served here.

La Table du Capitaine is a small exclusive restaurant, lying close to La Goélette. Private dinners can be hosted at La Table du Capitaine. Or if guests prefer a quiet dinner on their private terrace, the hotel will pamper them and provide the services of a personal waiter too.

For an informal lunch under a magnificent badamier tree, drop in at the terraces of the Le Bar Plage,which offers light meals, snacks and a la Carte lunch.  

Guests also have the option of a meal at the Natureaty. The restaurant serves well-balanced dishes that highlight the delicate flavours of the natural ingredients. A la Carte dinners are served here.

With a stunning beachfront location, this trendy restaurant features a contemporary design that complements the natural surroundings. The stylish interior and open-plan kitchen incorporate clean lines, natural stone and textures. The two beach-level terraces offer a magnificent view across the lagoon. Natureaty is an ideal place for enjoying a relaxing al fresco meal under the stars.

Located off the main restaurant, Le Bar Terrasse is the place for a cooling drink or sundowner in the most chic environment.

Rolls-Royce Luxury

The royal treatment begins immediately on reaching Mauritius. Guests are offered the luxury of a drive in a chauffeur driven Rolls-Royce Phantom, the only one of its kind in Mauritius, to and from the airport. The silver Phantom has been especially created to meet Royal Palm specifications.

Sports Facilities

The Royal Palm Hotel has a modern Sports Centre that includes pilates, steps, cardio and circuit training, a kinesis area equipped with power plates and facilities for squash. There are three floodlit courts and new equipment supplied by HEAD for tennis lovers.

For those who prefer water sports, the hotel offers the thrilling experience of water-skiing. Guests could also experience the thrill of being lifted off the water, as they windsurf alongside the shore. Or they could dance along the waves in a laser sailing boat. Facilities for kayaking, pedal boating and glass bottom boat trips are also there to be experienced and enjoyed. Diving excursions depart daily from the hotel.

Guests have the option to glide off into the sunset, towards the northern islets, on a private cruise.

Spa Facilities

Set amidst lush vegetation and sparkling water features, the design of Royal Palm's new Spa, Clarins, has a blend of indoor and outdoor spaces, though focussing mainly on a pool surrounded by a spacious sun deck.

Organic elements are at the heart of the building. Natural materials such as lava stone, granite, wood and slate blend with the environment, making a visually pleasing statement.

All the cabins open to private patios set in walled gardens. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows blur the line between indoor and outdoor living. Each cabin is decorated in a different theme, ranging from Asian to Indian styling.

Adjacent to the entrance, a thatched pavilion houses the yoga area.

There is a range of body treatments, scrubs, wraps and massages, which can be tailored to suit your needs.

Bob Marlin Miniclub

At the Royal Palm, children receive royal treatment. The caring staff turns every day into a new adventure. Some interesting activities organised by the club include scavenger hunts, exploring nature, basic squash and tennis coaching, cake making, glass bottom boat ours, playing in the pool and collecting shells on the beach.

Group facility

Royal Palm is an ideal location for prestige groups of 10 to 20 guests, between May 15 and July 31 and from September 01 to 30.

The north coast usually provides warm and stable weather conditions.

The Royal Palm Hotel is situated on the beach of Grand Bay. It is at 10 minutes' walking distance from the centre of Grand Bay, 15 km from Port Louis and 68 km from the airport.
