Located on the water's edge, the La Caravelle restaurant and its adjacent bar are the hub of entertainment in the evenings. The restaurant serves American buffet breakfast and buffet dinners. Italian, Asian and Mauritian cuisine find expression in the tempting buffet spreads.

Set close to the swimming pool, the L'Oasis restaurant lays emphasis on freshly prepared meals. Just off the restaurant, the L'Oasis Bar, housed in a thatched kiosk, is just the place for a casual sundowner.  There is a wide array to choose from at every meal. The restaurant serves Continental buffet breakfast, a la Carte lunch, sandwiches, salads, pancakes, and pastries in the afternoon and dinner (on reservation).

L'Espadon is a small, exclusive beach restaurant, where you can dine with your feet in the sand. L'Espadon is French for "swordfish" and needless to add, the restaurant serves fresh Mauritian fish and seafood. Lunch and dinner are served at L'Espadon.

Each Beachcomber hotel offers a free Bob Marlin mini club equipped with a range of facilities that appeal to children between three and 12 years of age.  Some of the daily activities include glass-bottom boat trips, snorkelling, small-line fishing, initiation classes for tennis, water-skiing, sailing and windsurfing, painting, treasure hunt and games in the pool.

The hotel is located centrally, very close to the main road along the beach. The hotel lies in close proximity to a supermarket, bank, the Trou aux Biches casino and a public golf course.

The distance to the tourist centre Grand Bay is 7 km, to the capital Port Louis 18 km and to the airport 64 km. The nearest large village is Triolet, which is also the longest village on the island.

Transport to Grand Bay:

• It is a 10-minute ride by public bus and costs Rs 12 one way.
• It is a 5-minute drive by taxi and costs Rs 150/ 200 one way.
